As the former residence of Marjorie Merriweather Post, a businesswoman, socialite, philanthropist and collector, Hillwood is famous for its beautiful decorative arts collection that is primarily on the House of Romanov.
The Collection at Hillwood
Art collection at Hillwood is extensive with more than 17,000 objects from the original collection belonging to Marjorie Post. There are also additions to that already large collection with other objects which were added to the museum after her death.
